However, Titus was arrested by the Inquisition, the Imperium’s secret police force, on accusations of heresy due to Titus being able to effortlessly resist the horrifying powers of a hellish dimension known as the Warp. You play as one of these Space Marines called Titus, who in the previous game, saved the Forge World of Graia from the combined forces of Orks and Chaos Marines. These genetically modified super soldiers travel into the darkest corners of the galaxy and defend mankind from all kinds of enemies like warmongering Orks, Daemon-worshipping cultists, traitorous Chaos Marines, undying eldritch Necrons, deceitful Eldar, and more. Mankind’s best hope for survival is the Adeptus Astartes, more commonly known as Space Marines. The trailer seems to suggest a similar linear structure to the level designs, though perhaps with wider, more open spaces, though we don’t know if this is definitively the case yet. The good old jump pack makes a return (how could it not) and generally (from what we’ve seen) it appears to be much the same as before, just better, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. ![]() The new trailer shows off what appears to be a slightly more vibrant and stylised iteration in the series (but we’re not talking Dawn Of War 3 levels here, so rest easy) with lots of crackling blue power weapons, arcs of Tyranid blood, and sweeping combat poses being thrown out by Titus himself in the midst of combat. ![]()
